So, I thought I'd be a wonderfully, creative mother today. It was Dr. Seuss' birthday yesterday and my son's school has been doing things to celebrate all week. Yesterday the mayor came to the school and read Green Eggs and Ham. When I asked Vance about it, he said it was good. Then he said, "I'd like to try green eggs and ham someday. Maybe I would like it."
TODAY WAS THAT DAY!
You can't see it all that good, because my batteries were dead on my camera, so I had to take this one with my phone. But, I think you get the idea. And we don't do fried eggs in this house, like the book has, so they are scrambled. He was pretty excited...and I was proud of myself for doing something "special".
I bet your kids loved this!! I attempted Green Eggs and Ham once but I didn't have any ham so I used bologna.
